Brainiac

The cool thing about psychology is that it is everywhere. Something that I wasn't conscious about. This is what makes it so interesting.

How the stimuli stimulate your senses and lead to the perception of certain things and various responses in reaction to the stimuli. How it is possible to train a child to have better behavior with the aid of reinforcement and how it is possible to ring a bell to make a dog salivate.

How you can see everything, but yet only see what your brain wants you to see.

Our brain is such a sophisticated entity that allows us to make such complex mental processes at the snap of our fingers.

The only drawback is that it is damn difficult to study. Too heavy in content.

Most of the thing hardly goes beyond my STM. Hopefully the recency effect stays longer than normal.

"... it barely matters how much or how hard you try to learn something: what matters is how well you integrate and organise the material." (S.M. Kosslyn &, R.S. Rosenberg, 2006. Psychology in Context.)
