Today was supposed to be 2s22 class gathering. We went to The Mushroom Pot. Although I love shrooms, I didnt really feel happy about today. This gathering was rather incomplete. Met at 1930, ordered at 2000, left the place at 2110 and as we left the place we all went our separate ways.
I reached home at 2210.
But the service at The Mushroom Pot at orchard point was horrible.
Drinks took 2omins to be served.
Rice took 6 reminders, 3 of which to the same person.
The manager blatantly refused to split the bills of the 2 tables claiming it to be too tedious, when all they had to do was to separate the ala-carte dishes into 1 receipt and the set meals into another since only my table ordered the ala-carte which could save us about 20mins figuring out how much each of us had to pay Aaron who footed the whole bill.
Well done Mr Manager.
One thing is for sure, I am never going to go to that mushroom pot ever again.

New Year Resolution
Frankly speaking, I didnt really think about it. But I suppose there are a couple of things I need done or hope to achieve.
Things to do/ want to achieve.
Things to do/ want to achieve.
- To get a grip on myself and shake off the inferiority complex that I have.
- With the success in the change of course I better make up for lost time and study hard and smart and my aim at least a CAP of 4. For sem 2.
- Juggle school and finance well. (Meaning get a PT job while studying to finance myself.)
- Get a tan.
- Learn how to roller blade.
- Make more friends in school.
- Get fitter, not rounder.
- (More to come if i think of them)

Some Pictures from Christmas Eve!
Xmas Eve 2006
Ah, Christmas, the season to be jolly and giving.
Went to watch The Holiday with Sheena at Lido, and yet again we ended up in Lido 7. While getting our popcorn, Sheena asked for extra butter on the salted popcorn. The person then added a few squirts too much butter and butter was leaking through the popcorn box as we walk into the cinema. This made eating popcorn rather disgusting and I was suppose to enjoy it since I hadnt had popcorn for like more than a year?? =/
Its a pretty interesting love story abt 2 women (Amanda -Cameron Diaz, Lisa - Kate Winslet) living worlds apart (one in LA the latter in England) who both had relationship problems and wanted to take a break over the christmas holiday and somehow stumbled onto a home exchange program and exchanged house for 2 weeks. And something amazing happened to them in their fortnight holiday. But most importantly, I love Cameron Diaz. Haha.
Since we didnt had lunch, we decided to grab some snack at the Tangs, and we got a sugar roll and had those Shilin "Ji Pa". Then it was off to CityHall, somehow I managed to turn at the Marina exit at CitiLink Mall for no apparent reason and we entered marina. Didnt do much there but we saw a Dian Xin shop "Pao Jin Tian" It sounded awfully like Justice Bao, but its actually Pau Today. We had some Chee Cheong Fun and some black Sesame Pau. Its pretty yummy and their chinese tea is served in a bowl! But as we waited for our order to come, we realised it was 5pm. Our table for my dinner treat by Na was booked at 6.30pm.
After snacking, we went to Suntec and walked abit, finally at about 6.15pm went to Surf & Turf for dinner. Its the first time I ate there, the food wasnt too bad, just that I didnt like their christmas menu and luckily they didnt restrict you to just the Christmas Menu. I ordered a Medium-welldone Sirlion with crayfish while Sheena ordered a Grilled Chicken with Crayfish, their mushroom soup is quite impressive and the price of the whole meal was quite reasonable as well. But something I noticed, as we called for the bill, the first time the waitress came, she showed me the bill while I kindly pointed out that Sheena is footing the bill and she said, "Oh.". Ok, next when the bill came with her card and receipt for her to sign, this time the waiter gave me the bill again, and yet again, I pointed out its Na's. So are they stereotyping that whenever a guy and a girl goes out for a meal, the guy must be the one footing the bill? So much for gender equality.
So we headed for Millenia walk and boy was it quiet, apart from the outback steak house, the whole place is damn quiet. Na bought me a Dip Stick Snack from candy empire there and we found a shop selling Madrid Birkenstock at $69. So after a difficult and hard battle with herself, and much saliva wasted on my part, she was convinced to buy it. But that led to another problem. A 45min innerself battle was once again fought by Sheena on deciding whether to buy a bronze or orange one. Though she very much wanted the orange one, but she scared it would get dirty, so she got the bronze one in the end. =/
But nevermind that, after that we went to Pacific Cafe and had one of our best coffeeing sessions in these 45 months of togetherness. It was long and nice, just not what we do normally, So after a 2hr plus coffeeing session we wanted to go see fireworks, so we headed for esplanade.
As the time drew nearer, the crowd gathered. It was 12mn, then it was 12.05am. NO fireworks, so I guess everyone there was just hoping there was fireworks and people just love to follow blindly, including myself. Haha. That was such a waste of time. But luckily there is an extension of train hours tonight.
Overall I kind of enjoyed myself today. Thanks Dear. But the Festive Mood just isnt there, there isnt much people in town as well. Maybe everyone flocked to Vivocity? I dont know but, It sure didnt feel like town this Christmas.
Love ya dear.
Merry Christmas to all!

KTV with 2s22.
After a long break from KTVing, I finally had a chance to NOT sing in the toilet while I am bathing or shitting. So we were supposed to meet at 11am for K Lunch, but maybe due to the rainy cold weather, everyone but me and weequan were late. So due to overwhelming response for K Lunch today, their lunch was sold out so we settled for a no cover charge room as long as each of us ordered a $5 dollar drink which in the end amounted to abt $10/- per pax.
I really enjoy singing, I dont know why. I admit I am not a damn good singer, but I do think I am able to sing according to the tune. Why do I like singing? I dont really know as well, maybe its because when I really listen to the lyrics of the songs, I feel touched at what the song is trying to bring out, be it a happy song, sad love song, sad song, etc. Whenever I sing without any restriction I feel damn shiok, the feeling of being able to release all my feelings; the ability to let the anger, hatred, happiness, sadness out of my heart just seems to loosen me up.
Singing with a bunch of close friends is pretty fun, this is my biggest ever K Box session with 9 people. We get alot laughter from laughing at each other 'zhou ying'. Alot of gaying around with guys singing love duets. Overall the best part of the Kbox session was the end when we were singing out last song, Ben suggested to end on a high note, so he chose 恋爱ing as the last song.
We were just crazy, absolutely crazy. Singing, screaming, shouting and jumping around. A happy song by nature combined with the madness of the s22 people. It just made my mood happier. Though I admit I kind of lost my voice from all the screaming.
Here is the MV of the Song By MayDay
After that, we headed for Pizza Hut for our lost lunch, before playing pool and headed home.

Holidays...
Ah.. the holiday season is here again.
After a long year of hard work its time to chill and relax.
But i just realised how short this holiday is to me.
It hasnt been very productive and its already 18th Dec.
So many things not done, so many friends not met yet.
How i wish i have 3 heads and 6 arms.
And the weather is just so nice.
Actually its wonderful to snuggle under your comforter/blanket and slip into a deep sleep dreaming of all the wonderful things in the world.
But its not a good weather for me to go to the beach! and i want my sun. I am becoming pale and white. I need to buy a tanning bed i think. =/

Why do I blog?
I was surfing blogs of 17 - 18 year olds. And from my dear 'Santa' i started to ponder why do I blog. Reading my blog entries, I find that most of the entries are actually a summary of the events which happen on a particular day, apart from the occasional/rare random thoughts and addressing of some social issues.
So looking deep into it, I realised that I blog to keep a record of the major events which happen to me or around me. And apart from it, I blog for people to see. I dont know if this is a good thing or bad, but I like surfing my friends's blog to see what have been happening to them, and whats going on in the lives. Even without any form of communication, I can still know whats up with them.
But maybe these reasons just came out from my mind to try to answer to my own queries and doubts of why I blog. Maybe there is just no reason.

Driving Adventure.
I went on a driving adventure today. Haha.
My aunt went overseas with my mum and grandma. So she left her car to my uncle who drove to work. He said I could use the car over the wkend if I needed it as the couple only needed 1 car over the wkend. I took it of course, not knowing where I might want to go.
After taking the car from him at Orchid Park, I drove to pick Na up. And well, since I didnt have a REAL-LIFE experience parking without the assistance of poles, I tried parking at Na's carpark. It was horrible, all my reverse parking were like taking up 2 lots.
Then I gave up, and waited for Na to be done before we headed off to Thomsom Plaza. Since my knowledge of the Singapore Rd System is damn bad, we decided to go there as I knew that area quite well furthermore, we were looking for a shop that sell Abercombie and Fitch apparels.
When I reached the carpark, I was horrified. There were so many cars, when i managed to find a lot, I actually parked quite well. So lesson learnt, always park beside another car because you can always use the car as a marker.
So after that, we couldnt decide where to go as I was paranoid that I would get lost in Singapore. So, Na suggested Novena as it was a 'straight' road down from thomsom plaza. So I followed her straight road and I ended up going towards Bukit Timah, then I thought, ok never mind take this chance to drive to NUS, then I missed the turn to Bukit Timah and I went towards Farrer Rd. So we yet again decided to go to Ikea since with a car we could buy things there and bring it back easily.
After having dinner at Ikea, we wanted to go back, but i turn and turn and we ended up going to Pasir Panjang, so I did another of my already alot U-turns, and we went towards Vivo-city, and I still havent been inside the place =/. Nvm that, I found out that exiting throught keppel rd, I can go to town. Finally after some struggle I found CTE!! Then we headed to AMK to her fav tomato shop to buy toiletries. And headed home.
I made more U-turns today then the total U-turns I made when I was a learner! And I finally know how to park without a pole, just by using the side mirrors! And driving around Singapore without knowing how to go to the places is petrol consuming. Initially I wanted to drive around Thomsom, Yishun, Sembawang and AMK. Plan was to stay clear of town. But in the end, I still drove around town and even ended up all over the place. But it was fun to be driving around without anyone nagging. Haha

Resurfaced...
Its been awhile since i blogged.
Didnt have the mood to blog since i think i would have screwed up my exams pretty badly. Well, it wasnt the best exams I had taken, and maybe too much undue pressure on myself from myself by myself has taken a toll on me. Every night before the paper, I would toss and turn in a sleepless night. I often can hear my kitchen clock chime *dong..... dong* (2AM). Everytime I enter the examination hall, my head starts to ache. Phobia of exams? I dont know. I had never been like this. I was always quite a good exam taker, usually without much last minute stress. This time was horrible, when i sit down and tried to recall my stuff after the exams started, I tend to forget 50% of them, only after the exams I recall them. =/ I even forgotten HOW TO WRITE AN ESSAY. =///
Bah, forget it, ITS OVER...
Well, my programming methodology paper, I went back home to prepare for that night's party at Ben's house ,The Bayshore. Still can remember quite vividly 3, 4 years back we go his house quite often for a game of pool, mahjong. Things definately changed over these years, but somehow whenever I look at my SR classmates, I find that most of them actually didnt change much. Somehow even though we didnt meet up alot except for this year due to the 21st birthdays, we are still quite close. Well, by the time me and Aaron reached his house, it was about 7pm. Those guys that came early already finished the BBQ and all the food was prepared. Well, not that i mind, haha saves me the trouble. Well, the majority of the time spent there was talking cock with the guys, followed by a 2s22 Ktv session at the KTV room over there. And i have to agree that, without the constant practise like before, my singing has deteroriated tremendously, but at least still got tune la... Well, at the end of the whole thing, we left his house abt 2330 and shared a cab back.
And Sunday was a HAPPY FEET DAY!
I must agree that It is a good show. =) And Mumble is simply too adorable. I actually hoped that he would never grow up.. =/ Oh well, thats just life.
Bah, these few days i have been running, doing circuit training, now im aching. But the shit thing is that, my spoilt ankle is spoilt again. I thought that it had recovered after a long break, but guess not. I had to stop running half way today =/ Haix
