Was talking to Edgar for a bit last night.
Hows life? He asked.
I realised I couldnt even answer that question properly. Life just feels messy.
I don't understand why either, I have a midterm schedule that everyone is envious of, I'm not entirely stressed out by my studies as well. I just cannot muster up enough of everything to do anything right.
I've thought I've found the right path, but the query of whether it is the right direction to go seems to come back to me again and again. It is getting pretty damn irritating. Perhaps, just perhaps I am starting to lose my mind as well. I cant seem to remember any single shit that I studied. STM going, LTM going. What else can go?
Maybe he is right on the mid sch crisis, on the bright side at least it gives me some prep when I enter mid life crisis. Haha

The Walk Home.
The Walk Home.
It has been half a decade,
Yet it has been the first.
Never have I initiated,
Never has she requested.
Strolling under the bright moonlight,
Makes my heart feel light.
Holding her hands tight,
Makes me forget my plight.
Listening to her every word,
While walking on the path.
Slowly as we walk that night,
Two hearts joined with might.

This is a random post.
First and foremost, congrats to Singapore for winning the bid to host the Youth Olympics. Even though we only won by a small margin, the fact that a small country in SEA being given a chance is something we should be proud of. Not just as a Singaporean, but as a member of ASEAN.
Yay!
Anyway, for Bahasa Indonesia 1 (LAB1201) there are projects such as cooking, folklore play, dance, batik etc. And I had no choice but to join the Play grp because I registered a little later than the rest of the people. And now, I am casted as the Prince who will fight the Giant to save the Cucumber girl. Haha. I shall be able to flaunt my ever-so-lousy acting skills. SO looking forward to it.
Recess week is here. But I think I will either be in school for the whole week or at least 3 to 4 days. Sianz. Need to have a good time table. Main priority would be Psy test and term paper.

MoneySense
The meeting went quite well I guess.
Now we need to twerk the proposal by quite a bit. Hopefully it works out and we can build on to the "golden age" of ENS as what Ben likes to put it. Haha

Mid Feb.
A busy week has past and more busy weeks ahead I presume.
Went shopping with the guys at vivo just now.
Submitted my marketing report ytd. (Finally).
And tried out Disney Naturally - Mickey Mouse Restaurant!
Was quite disappointed with the flowers. To myself, "Don't be lazy, next time collect from a proper florist."
Some pics!

New Year
It has been awhile since I blogged.
Chinese New Year came and now we're back to school. Actually this year, I didnt really have any New Year mood. I don't know why, but I just wasn't really looking forward to it. Of course I welcome the break that it offered and the Ang Baos that follows. But deep inside, I'm not a CNY person.
Spent the eve of CNY eve in school with ENS, we had a steamboat reunion dinner. As usual, NEFMQ isolated ourselves. Heh. Maybe because we click more la.
CNY eve was simply damn full la, always eat so much until feel like exploding. Haha.
Visiting was as per normal, except that we met my whole father's side extended family at my Ah Ma's house for the first time in many years. It has been awhile since we met them. 2nd day was rather different because I managed to borrow the car from Aunty Wendy and drove around. Having a car really makes travelling much more convenient, despite the petrol bill. Managed to clear all the destinations with Na in a relatively short time.
Yesterday was Gramp's death anniversary (Lunar one). It has been 6 years. Still remember the night before he passed away and the day itself. Some things will always remain deep inside my heart (perhaps Long term memory).
School started again! No good! Marketing report not done. Need to buck up alot on Micro, because I realised I'm damn cui, and this module is damn important for Honours year. Psy was quite interesting still.
Better go back to my mkt report =)

Vrooooom Vroooom
Not that I want to complain, but at the rate the transportation system is developing here, I probably won't buy a car. And personally I hate public transport even though at times, it is alot faster than driving (when there is a jam/peanut butter). Besides, public transportation aint all that reliable.
A Nissan Sunny would probably cost 100k by the time I graduate after factoring in inflation and COE rise - which is an attempt to reduce car growth. Owning a car is probably one of the most important material wants that I desire. A home would fall under the most important need, besides food/water. But of course, I've always wanted to purchase private property.
From the current outlook of the economy, if the HDB bubble don't burst, a condo would easily cost 1.5M.
So my views of Singapore 10yrs from now.
-High cost of living. (much higher than it is now.)
-Hike in old age dependency.
-Influx of people (since govt's aim is to have a population of 6M)
-A overly crowded orchard road. (As if it is not crowded enough.)
-A max speed of 50km/hr on the highway. (because there are simply too many vehicles.)
-Private ownership of helicopters becoming normal. (because roads too pack liao, no choice must fly)
-ERP every 5metres, so that people keep off the roads.
-I will still get pushed out of the MRT and only get to board after 2 or 3 trains come.
So my conclusion:
Emigrate to somewhere with more space!
Although I have thoughts of going elsewhere once in a while, I still love Singapore. Its my home. But the way it is changing, doesn't seem to make it as homely anymore.
Patriot no more?

Marketing
Speaking of coincidental.
First, I saw Lisa outside the class, the found out that she is also in the same tutorial class as Wenling and I. Hahaa.
Then when the rest of the people streamed in, I saw Thye Heng. I've only bumped into him once in my 2 years here, and now we're classmates. lol.
Then of course, the proj group is Me, Lisa, Wenling, Thye heng and Daniel, TH's friend.
Swee la. Haha.
